AUGUSTA, Maine: The Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a nine-day trip to China next October for members and others to experience memorable sites, both ancient and modern, with an opportunity to enjoy a multitude of first-hand and unforgettable cultural experiences.
Travelers may also learn about the Chinese business system and have the opportunity to meet with Chinese business leaders.
In announcing the October 16-24, 2013 tour, KV Chamber Board Chair, Dr. Allyson Handley, President of the University of Maine at Augusta, said this “trip is an extraordinary educational experience for anyone who has ever wanted to see the Great Wall or visit the world’s largest city – at a bargain.”
The trip includes round-trip international airfare from JFK to Beijing, domestic airfare in China, 4-star and 5-star hotel accommodations in the four cities visited, three full meals a day, English-speaking tour guides, Intracity transportation and admission to all tours and attractions.
The $2,299 KV Chamber member fee is per person based upon double occupancy (a single room in all cities will cost an additional $500). If not a member of the KV Chamber, there is an additional $100 fee.
Briefing: A pre-tour briefing for all prospective participants will be held February 21, 2013 in the Augusta Room, Augusta Civic Center. Citslinc International tour operators will answer all of your questions and familiarize you with details of the trip.
