Maine's Capital Area

The festival wraps up with a festive holiday celebration of our nation’s independence in Augusta with the Capital City Riverfront Fourth. Old Fort Western will host an old time independence day all day long, a grand parade starts at 4pm with live music and family activities from 5pm until dusk at Mill park in Augusta. At sunset you can find fireworks in Augusta and Winthrop and countless other communities throughout the region
