Join us on The Common for a community potluck! Gardiner Farmers' Market is so happy to be part of such a vibrant community. Let's break bread together! Please bring something yummy to share...and extra points for a dish inspired by Marjorie Standish's 'Cooking Down East' (published 1969) or 'Keep Cooking' (1973).

Many of you will know Marjorie's cookbooks, the classic orange-yellow and green cloth covers, traditional recipes now calling for shortening, gelatin and canned veggies...even a Cheez Whiz one. Marjorie lived in Gardiner from 1936 until 1966. She began writing for the Press Herald in 1948, so for 18 of the 25 years she wrote the column she was living in Gardiner!
