Summer is almost here and we are excited to introduce another great lineup of engaging, hands-on summer camps! With both outdoor and indoor activities, hands-on science experiments, messy art projects, special guests and more, we can't wait to get started!

Spark Camp Ages 3-6

Calling All Super Heros  

June 27th - July 1st

Who doesn’t love a cape? In this action-packed week, design a superhero, construct costumes, create a comic strip and use sharp problem-solving skills to complete a top secret mission!

Maine-ly Fun            

July 5th - July 8th      

We’ll become familiar with Maine’s rich wildlife, learn essential survival skills, compete in a lumberjack competition, make homemade paper & prepare blueberry pie, of course!

Because this camp is only 4 days, camp is $80 for members and $90 for non-members

STEAM Lab                        

July 11th - July 15th

Spend a week tinkering, breaking, building, and creating with enriching science, technology, engineering, art and math experiences. We’ll watch a 3D printer in action, experiment with circuits, complete invention challenges, explore magnetic slime and more!

Arghh!          

July 18th - July 22nd

Ahoy, matey! Transform into a fearless pirate for a week. Design a pirate flag, learn to navigate a map, paint story stones & search for buried treasure!

Fairies, Gnomes & Sprites      

July 25th - July 29th    

Discover our world through the eyes of fairies & gnomes, while collecting and identifying treasure, gardening, building fairy houses, creating wings, and experimenting with spices & herbs.

Blast Off!          

August 1st - August 5th

Blast off into a week of galactic fun! We’ll make a giant rocket ship, experiment with gravity, squish “moon sand,” build stomp rockets, design aliens, and explore the planets.

Spy Training          

August 8th - August 12th

Do you have what it takes to be a spy? Design disguises, build spy-gadget prototypes, create and crack codes, and test your physical fitness, as you become a world-class spy.

Messy Science   

August 15th - August 19th

Get ready for squishy, fizzy, popping science! Become a mad scientist with eruptions, reactions, giant bubbles, and more as we design and test experiments, make observations and of course, get messy.

Camp Flame Ages 7-11 

Kids in the Woods
Week 1: June 27th - July 1st
Week 2: July 25th - July 29th

In partnership with Viles Arboretum, this unique nature oriented camp will get your kids excited about engaging with the outdoors. Camp takes place at the Arboretum and will focus on topics like tree and bird identification, insect life, pond studies, and mammal and reptile studies. Kids will make plaster mammal prints, paint with natural materials, go on daily hikes, check out real creature habitats, learn survival skills, and take part in hands-on lessons with guest lecturers from the Arboretum.
