Michelle Anderson and Jill Jamison will give a presentation on Junior Achievement of Maine and its role in educating the next workforce in Maine. 

Michelle Anderson Junior Achievement of Maine

Michelle Anderson is the President of Junior Achievement of Maine. Michelle started with the organization over 7 years ago as an unpaid summer intern and has never looked back. In her role as President, she oversees all JA Maine operations and directs all fundraising and marketing initiatives for the organization and manages the State Board of Directors. Michelle sits on the board for PROPEL, a network whose mission is to help businesses and young professionals thrive in Maine. She is also a dance teacher at Scarborough Dance Center where she teaches a variety of different dance styles to young students. 

 

Jill Jamison Junior Achievement of Maine

Jill Jamison is the Director of Operations for Junior Achievement of Maine and has also been with the organization over 7 years. In her role, Jill works with over 50 board members on four area boards across the state. She oversees volunteer and board recruitment, teacher requests, and assists with fundraising and special events. Jill sits on the Maine JumpStart Coallition for Personal and Financial Literacy whose mission is to work collaboratively to improve financial capability in Maine. Prior to Junior Achievement, Jill spent several years in the financial services industry.

The Chamber's Women's Network meets monthly to strengthen business relationships, hear topical topical speakers and develop leadership. Women's Network, It's all about business and building relationships! This event is usually held on the second Wednesday monthly, excluding July and August. Early Networking begins at 11:30 a.m., buffet lunch at noon, speaker 12:30 and adjourn 1:00 p.m.
