The "3rd Annual Central Maine Converge and Create Weekend" is a forum where innovators, entrepreneurs, business people, technologists, makers and creators gather to interact with one another, along with experts in the entrepreneurial and innovation fields, to hear and discuss the latest "leading edge" advancement in business.

This FREE event is held by the Harold Alfond Institute for Business Innovation at Thomas College.  The first day of the event starts on 12:30 PM Friday, November 15, 2019 and goes until 5:00 PM and will feature Innovation as the subject matter.  More specifically, experts in technology such as artificial technology, deep machine learning and the 'Internet of Things' will discuss how technology is changing everything about our work and economy and how Innovation practices and methodologies are at the heart of this movement.  Attendees will not only come away with understanding the importance of Innovation but how to bring innovative practices into their organizations.

The event resumes on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and will consist of breakout sessions and workshops that deal directly with topics on entrepreneurship and innovation.  Individuals looking to either start a business or who run a business will find these particularly helpful.

At 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2019, event attendees will be able to view the preliminary live business pitches of college students throughout Maine as they compete against one another for the available slots on the 2nd season of Greenlight Maine's collegiate business pitch television show.
