This deeply funny and moving new play explores what happens when a person is asked to literally hand over a piece of themselves. Raina’s ailing father needs a kidney. Her kidney. But he’s been a lousy dad, so she’s not convinced he’s “kidney worthy”. What actually IS our responsibility to our parents and theirs to us? How do we set aside our past and move to a place of forgiveness and generosity? Time jumps backwards and sideways and game changing secrets are revealed in this touching new comedy about what it means to have, to give and to connect.
