The American Lung Association in Maine is home to the Trek Across Maine, a multi-day cycling event that helps to fund the research, education, and advocacy around lung disease. Held annually on Father's Day weekend, the ride begins and ends in New Gloucester, with overnight stops at Bates College in Lewiston and Saint Joseph's College in Standish. A Three day ride, and Virtual options make the Trek is open to cyclists of all abilities. Hundreds of volunteers are also needed each year - groups of employees, families, friend groups, couples, and individuals are welcome to help this event run smoothly.
The American Lung Association works to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. Because when you can't breathe, nothing else matters.
