You have some glass experience and know what you’d like to create — but you still would like to have an experienced professional nearby to answer questions or help if problems arise. You’d like to work independently, yet enjoy the company of fellow artists and have access to professional-grade equipment such as grinders, saws and sandblasters.
You are a perfect candidate for the All Glass Workshop!
In this workshop, you determine your project. You have free range to work on what you want, but if you have questions, Instructor Bruce Grantham is available to help!
Session is 5 weeks long, for 2 1/2 hours each week. The class is open to any avenue of glass art — stained glass, fused glass, flameworking, mosaics and etching. Fusers receive up to 12 firings in the kiln (must provide ThinFire), and up to a quarter of a kiln's worth of space for each firing (approximately enough space for a 12x12" and one smaller project).
Class cost is $120 plus consumables. Some experience is required.
Additional space and firings are available for purchase. Cost of gas for torch use is included in the price.
To register, stop in, call 213-4126 or click the link below to pay online! A 50% deposit is required to hold your space unless you are a veteran or qualify for our Teach the Teacher program. Deposits are refundable or transferable to another class up to 7 days before the class starts. Payment in full is required on the first day of class.
