Executive Director

The Family Violence Project is seeking an Executive Director. As the Domestic Violence Project serving Kennebec and Somerset Counties we have the vision of ending domestic abuse in Kennebec and Somerset counties.

We are looking for someone who has significant experience working within the Domestic Violence field in Maine and has strong ties to the statewide coalition, MCEDV and strong ties to the greater Augusta area. This individual would also have experience in grant writing and leading a team of professionals in empowering ways while maintaining 360 degree accountability.

The well qualified candidate will have some experience in leading a diverse team, in multiple locations, fulfilling a variety of roles. They should have experience working within the constraints of Government and Private grants and State contracts as well as demonstrated ability to support staff through difficult times and challenging circumstances.
