Established in 2020, STEVE SMITH Trial Lawyers is one of Maine’s fastest-growing law firms. We’re expanding our practice and have an opening for a talented full-time Receptionist. The ideal candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong technology and typing skills, and be highly organized and detail-oriented. This candidate should have the ability to assist attorneys and clients by welcoming visitors to the office, provide polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, handle office tasks, and perform administrative and organizational support when needed. Comfort with computer-based technologies and office software is required.

SKILLS:

- Prior administrative experience preferred

- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others

- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

- Excellent typing and computer skills

- Ability to build rapport with clients

- Ability to be self-sufficient and meet deadlines

- Able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Zoom

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
