This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of organizing and implementing individual and group campus visits.  From scheduling campus visits to recruiting potential students and families to campus, this position will be the first point of contact as they work with the Admissions Office.  The Campus Visit Coordinator is responsible for the main admissions email / phone line and provides basic admissions information to potential students.  Additionally, this position is responsible for managing the application process, including organizing and entering all application materials.  Along with overseeing the admissions front desk, the Campus Visit Coordinator will work closely with work-study students and the Welcome Center / Mail Services coordinator to provide additional coverage as needed.  Also, serving as an Administrative Assistant for all Admissions Counselors, Sr. Admissions Counselor, Associate Director, and Director of Admissions will be required. The position will promote the college’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) statement where applicable.

The Campus Visit Coordinator is responsible for fostering and scheduling all personal campus visits.  All aspects will be handled:  individual tours with a student ambassador, financial aid sessions, interviews, class sessions, meetings with coaches, meals in the dining hall, and / or any other community interfaces.  The Coordinator will assist the admissions office by providing basic, preliminary admissions information to prospective students and their families.  This will require a working knowledge of general admissions policies, procedures, and the campus in general. 

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.  Customer service experience required.  This position requires some evening and weekend hours. Most work will be conducted within an office setting where professional dress is required.  The ability to spend long periods of time on the phone, work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time, and lift up to 40 pounds is necessary for successful completion of the duties of the position.  This position will also require standing for long periods of time at essential functions that are administered by the Admissions Office.
