Join us for KLT's July blueberry celebration and informational talk at the Davidson Nature Preserve in Vassalboro. University of Maine Cooperative Extension Blueberry Specialist David Yarborough will lead a walk through the Davidson fields and discuss techniques for maintaining wild blueberry fields and the history of wild blueberries in Maine. Theresa Kerchner, Executive Director and Preserve steward Betsy Poulin will highlight upcoming stewardship projects at the Preserve.

After the walk, everyone is welcome to stay for blueberry picking and hiking with an optional nature scavenger hunt. Feel free to pack a picnic lunch. All ages welcome! Rain date: Satruday, July 31.
