Chris Smither live at Johnson Hall in Gardiner, ME. His fully name is William Christopher Smither and he is an American folk and blues singer, guitarist, and songwriter. His music draws deeply from the blues, American folk music, and modern poets and philosophers.
Honing a synthesis of folk and blues for 50 years, Chris Smither is truly an American original. As Acoustic Guitar magazine wrote, Smither sings about “the big things life, love, loss in a penetrating and poetic yet unpretentious way.”
Smither continues to tour worldwide, performing at clubs, concert halls, and festivals in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia.

Parking is limited on Water Street, however, additional parking is available in the Arcade Parking Lot, accessible from Main Street, and the additionl parking lot on Mechanic Street. Each lot is just a short walk to Johnson Hall and is adequately lit.
