"One of America's very best singer-songwriters." Every new album from Dar Williams represents her thoughts and feelings about both her own life and larger forces in the world. But her ninth studio record, Emerald, marks a particularly dramatic confluence between her experiences and broader contemporary culture-and what it means to be a songwriter at this moment in history.
Dar Williams will be performing at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center on Water Street in Gardiner on Saturday January 28, 2017 at 7:30 PM. Doors open at 7:00 PM. All seats are $42. Parking is limited on Water Street, however, additional parking is available in the Arcade Parking Lot, accessible from Main Street, and the additionl parking lot on Mechanic Street. Each lot is just a short walk to Johnson Hall and is adequately lit.
