Our bodies want to be healthy, to be in balance physically, mentally and emotionally, and are working toward that goal at all times. Learn ways to boost your body’s natural process. Reflexology utilizes the principle that the reflex points on the feet, when pressure is applied, will reflexively stimulate energy to a related organ in the body and promote healing. Research shows that the benefits of reflexology include reduction in stress, improved sleep patterns and increased circulation, all of which contribute to health.
You will receive basic information on what reflexology is, how to understand reflexology charts and learn just how reflexology can impact your wellbeing. You will learn a basic routine that you will practice with other participants, or if you prefer, on yourself. Couples/friends are encouraged to attend together, but not a requirement to take this class. Wear comfortable clothing; bring a pillow and a large towel. We will take a half hour lunch break, so bringing water and a light lunch is encouraged.
